Beneficiaries:

1) SIB Sabah Evangelists, Pastors

This is one of the most needy areas for the SIB Sabah where pastors and evangelists are greatly needed to grow the interior churches or prevent erosion of faith or conversion to other religions. The work of SIB Sabah (Pusat) in leading, charting and building the faith of the interior bumiputras is crucial for the future of this nation.

 

2) Skycommunity Kota Marudu Hostel

Kota Marudu sees a pilot students’ hostel to build academic & spiritual excellence under the supervision of Skyline’s own warden. It reaches the next generation of the neglected Bumiputera community & gives hope to them & to their own people.

 

3) Skycommunity Dandun, Pitas

We have done flood crisis relief with this group of villages for over 4 years. Plans in this

 

4) Skycommunity Timbua

Is where we have built a church & regular visits take place, averaging once every 2 months. The 300 students there are hungry for the word despite challenges and desire to be discipled. work include seeking to improve the health, nutrition and spiritual edification of the villagers and into ways of alleviating their hardship through regular visits and also through work with government departments.

 

5) Skycommunity Urban

Next year, 2011, will see Skycommunity returning to work among the needy in the urban areas in the form of specific projects that will touch the life of needy, exploited bumiputras displaced by rural-urban migration as well as other poorer sectors of the community with special needs through education and nutrition.

 

6) Prison Fellowship

PFM confornts justice system problems raging from poorly managed prisons to deprivation of fundamental human rights. They promote showing Christ’s love restorative justice as a more effective response to crime.

 

7) Malaysian Care

Is a non- profit Christian organization committed to serving the poor & needy, providing reflief, development assistance & spiritual hope to all, irrespective of race or religion.

 

8) Cornerstone Ministries

Aims to help raise & equip indigenous leaders to serve the Lord faithfully & effectively among the indigenous peoples of Malaysia. Founded & headed by Ps. Lam Kee Hing, it has touched hundreds of life.

 

9) Operation Mobilization (New Ship)

Since the unexpected decommissioning of the Doulos last year, OM has been mulling the possibility of a new ship to serve Asia/Africa region and train young people for short term missions. We believe in this dream and sow by faith today so that it will become a reality tomorrow.

 

10) Open Doors (Persecuted Church Worldwide)

Aims to strengthen, equip & provide for the needs of oppressed & suffering Christians communities & families worldwide through finance, training, bibles & alerting the church worldwide for prayer.

 

11) Barnabas Aid Fund (Christians in Muslim Countries)

It provides hope & aid for the persecuted Christians in M countries, addresses persecution and injustices in these lands and also strengthens churches there. It also acts as a voice for the persecuted church worldwide.

 

12) Barn Sukniran (Child Prostitution, Thailand)

In Thailand is where many girls have come to faith in Jesus, healed of their past trauma of sex slavery and abuse. It is led by Malaysian Yeo Lay bee who has worked there for over 20 years.

 

13) Kehilat Ha Carmel, (Mercy & Outreach, Israel)

This is a Messianic congregation near Haifa, where Jews, Arabs and other Gentiles worship together in a caring community of reconciliation, faith & service. They have ministries of mercy, outreach to the poor, the widows and refugees, and also intercession for the peace of Jerusalem.
