Walk into SkyHop and you’ll find it’s easy to pray. It’s quiet, inviting, and you might just sense a fragrance of His presence. This is because many have spent time praying there before you. From praises to thanksgiving, declarations of faith to intercessions, spiritual warfare to supplications, many have met with God, and have emerged from the room filled with faith and hope. There is an anointing for prayer here. It is so easy to meet with Jesus and hear His voice. This is our very own 24-hour House of Prayer, now being used regularly by individual Skyliners as well as by Connect Groups.
A few weeks back, I was alone in SkyHop. It was past midnight. God’s presence was so real. My eyes were closed in prayer, but I felt as if angels hovered nearby to assist me. A still small voice spoke to me about my life, my family, the church, the future and also things regarding our nation. I was filled with a deep peace that strengthened me for days. In that time, I was led by the Holy Spirit to scripture after scripture that stirred my heart afresh. It was overwhelming. Time passed all too quickly, and I walked out uplifted, blessed, and spiritually refreshed by a divine encounter. There is something special about SkyHop, and I encourage you to sign up for a prayer slot today.
You see, while we find burgers at McDonald’s and great pizzas at Domino’s, God is to be found in the secret place of prayer. True, you can pray anywhere, but SkyHop is a special place to pray, because it has been saturated with prayers. It is our very own prayer room where we bring our needs before the throne of God. When we pray there, we pray together. And this builds faith, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10:17). Today, as we grow in prayer, we will grow in faith! 2017
