Year of Overflowinf Life

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations,
forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)
Happy New Year Skyline! This is the Year of the Overflowing Life. I want you to know, God’s supply never runs out. When Jesus fed four thousand people, he used seven loaves of bread; when He fed five thousand people, He used five loaves. Do you get the picture of God’s economy? Less people, more supply is needed. More people, less supply is needed! The greater the problem, the greater the multiplication and miracle. That’s God’s economy! He is not limited by what we start with. That’s why the Bible says, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. The Greek translation for “exceedingly abundantly” is the word “superabundant”!
What is the limit of your thinking? Our thoughts are almost infinite. God can perform miracles greater than that! What are the limits of what you can ask? Our asking is often just limited to our needs. God can supply more than all that you can ever ask Him! Heaven’s supply never runs out. Our thoughts and our requests do. Here’s the nub. The power to bless us with the overflowing life is already in us! The Bible says, it is God’s “dunamis” power, His dynamite working in us! It’s the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, grew the withered hand, stilled the storm, supplied the catch or cast out the legion of demons in the Gaderene demoniac. It flows from Him alone.
Look to Jesus today! His grace is sufficient for you (2 Cor 12:9). Listen: the tense here is present continuous. It means God’s supply to you is always present; the flow of His grace and His supply does not stop! Even more so in your times of weakness and lack, in your times of need! It flows entirely from Him. That’s why the glory is His alone, in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations! This is our God! This year we are not defined by the world’s lack or gloom, but by the superabundance of God’s supply. It’s our Year of the Overflowing Life!
