Faith Story by Wong Fook Meng
Yesterday (Friday), when I joined the Dawn Prayer, Terence Ooi shared about his colleague who was walking in the mall one day and feeling down; and how someone came out of the blue to pray for her. This reminded me of something that happened earlier on Tuesday.
A childhood friend texted me and asked for a recommendation of an eye surgeon in Melaka. I gave the name of another childhood friend whom I considered to be the best eye surgeon in Melaka. Both friends are believers. I didn’t think much about it, and quickly forgot about the matter.
A few days later, I went to the mall – my first visit in months. As I was leaving, I bumped into my eye surgeon friend! We chatted briefly about my other friend’s condition, though he didn’t say much due to doctor-patient confidentiality.
Later that same evening I texted my other friend. That is when I found out that it was potentially a very serious eye condition which could even have led to blindness if it had not treated.
I told my friend that God knows about her situation, and that bumping into my eye surgeon friend was a sign from heaven.
And it reminded me of Terence’s story.
God ordains our move! Praise God!
