Growth is a necessary process in all aspects of life. This course will teach us what are the stages of spiritual formation and how to both grow and thrive in our spiritual life.
About the Speaker
Rev Hadassah is a teacher and minister of the Word, teaching in Rhema Singapore where she graduated, and in the extension schools in East Malaysia.
Whilst her ministry focus is to help both ministers and lay people to be all that God has called them to be, she is most passionate in equipping the body of Christ in less developed countries.
Course Description:
This is a course on spiritual growth. Each believer has been given the responsibility to grow spiritually. This course is designed to identify the basic elements that must be in place for spiritual growth to occur. Special attention will be given to explain how we must assist God’s people in the maturing process. Through this course, the student is helped to see why spiritual growth is important, how he or she can grow spiritually; walk in the Spirit; overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil; and thereby bear much fruit to the glory of God the Father.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to:
- Understand clearly the basic interest of God and the importance of promoting His interest.
- Realise the importance and benefits of developing the spirit of man.
- Understand what carnality is and what it produces.
- Gain an understanding of how to feed the spirit with growth in mind, know what type of exercise the spirit needs to grow.
- Understand the ultimate purpose for a mature Christian.
- Apply the disciplines required to grow spiritually.
